8th Annual

Kathryn L. Miller Christmas Parade

Our 8th Kathryn Miller Christmas Parade was a huge success. The parade was outstanding and considered the best yet. When the fireworks signaled the start of the parade, 17 outstanding floats began to grace the streets of Lind. They were beautiful and those who planned and built their float did an incredible job. We applaud the community members who participated and thank those who came to enjoy the festivities. Hats off to the very efficient Chamber of Commerce for the chili, hotdogs and noodle soup, and to those who set up, served, and cleaned up long after the crowd had dispersed. Also, sincere thanks to the Senior Center for the wonderful hospitality, and to Santa who enjoyed his chair of honor.

The Lind Community recognizes and appreciates those who made the prizes possible. This year, the Grand Prize Winner was awarded $250, and most entries went home with a substantial money prize.

We would also like to give special recognition to our Ritzville neighbors who also participated in our annual parade.

And the celebration begins!
Josamy Blake once again orchestrated a beautiful
fireworks display to officially open the holiday
festivities. Thanks, Josamy. And thanks to the Lind Lions Club
for the beautiful fireworks! (And special thanks to Janet
