It's the Calm
Before the Storm!

It takes a lot of work and many people to get prepared for the derby every year. Sometime between jobs, derby drivers begin work on their combines,
cars, trucks, or pick-ups.  Also, it's the time when the Lions Club gets down to "derby" business. This year the accomplished many projects. The fencing project, which began last derby was completed just in time for this year's festivities. Footings were poured for new bleachers, the electrical service was increased to accommodate more food booths, and general ground clean-up and preparation was completed. Always a good job, and always well done!
