2008 Grand Marshal

CONGRATULATIONS FOR A WELL DESERVED HONOR

27th Grand Marshal, Elmer Sackmann

The community salutes and honors Elmer for his outstanding community spirit and for continuing to help make Lind a better place to live! Elmer has devoted his life to the Lind Community and his family! You'll rarely see Elmer without one of his great grandchildren. He loves them and the feeling is definitely mutual. Elmer has lived in the Lind area his entire life and we are extremely proud that he represents the Lind Lions Club, Lind Chamber of Commerce and the Lind Community. You did a great job, Elmer!

Driving Lind's Grand Marshal is Howard Heil in his horseless carriage. Howard inherited this coveted
job and he loves every minute of it!  Thanks Howard!
