2008 Driver's Dinner

The Lind Lions Club hosts two dinners for the drivers and their crew. It's small pay, but it's worth the camaraderie that is shared among all of them. They enjoy a hamburger feed, and then a steak feed with all the trimmings: Baked potatoes, Spud Mud, rolls, and salad. At this time, judges give last minute instructions and pass out the newly revised rules. It's a great time for friendship and good will. But, don't let this peaceful atmosphere fool you. Underneath their smiles a plan is being formulated, decisions are being made, and strategy is being planned. It's all just a part of the game!
